M S Pitard Real Estate was established in 1961 and grew as a
result of acquisitions of several real estate agencies, including
Geo M Hume Pty Ltd, which became the flagship of the company for 18
years. The need to develop ties overseas became apparent and a
successful negotiation saw Maurice establish and head the
Australian arm of the DTZ group, a publicly listed company on the
London Stock exchange and one of the top five global property
companies in the world.
Maurice Pitard's client list over the last 20 years has included
major institutions including the Victorian and Commonwealth
Governments, major banks including National Australia Bank and ANZ,
AXA Property Trusts, AMP, Australia Post, Macquarie Bank, ESSS,
Catholic Churches Insurance, and numerous private investor groups
including Grollo and Becton.
Over the years, Maurice has established a considerable number of
